But, we also appreciate that software developers provide e-mail support both for tech issues on setting up the program and using it, and also willingly give statistics advice. For the thirty years I used several different statistical packages. None have been easier to operate and learn than StatPlus. StatPlus frees up intellectual resources for analyzing the results, rather than agonizing over who and how processed the data, and if any mistakes were made in the process.

Till date for various types of data analysis, we were either dependent on some statistician in the university/private institution or used to do it manually and don't know how reliable was the assistance provided. For example for whole of my PhD work on plant toxicology, I did probit analysis with the help of a calculator and Finney's book on Probit Analysis, I wish I had StatPlus with me at that time.
With the StatPlus, we will be independent and more confident about the outcome of data analysis and research results. Basically we will be using this software for sample size determination, testing the hypothesis about the effect of intervention using ANOVA, chi-square, regression, t-test, 2x2 Fisher's exact test and probit analysis for dose-response dependent data. I find the software quite user-friendly as it is windows based and interface is very clear. But in the last, I must appreciate your concern and policy for promoting scientific community working in remote areas.

We use StatPlus on a daily basis. Now it is the key application for statistical analysis. Program has features that are not ever included in some "heavy-weight" universal packages. Taking into consideration quality of reports and the current price – I think every researcher should have a copy.

For some years we have been watching how StatPlus evolves into the most user friendly and powerful statistical package. We find that StatPlus is easy to use and, for peoples with a math phobia, it works with minimal instruction. Anybody in higher educations who needs statistical program could do well to use StatPlus. I personally feel - it is best buy on the market for higher education.

I was impressed with features of StatPlus and BioStat. A wide variety of ANOVA procedures proved to be useful when I processed my thesis’ experimental data. Furthermore the program’s interface is very clear and similar to the Microsoft Excel’s one. Thanks to the developers and to the support team for the well-timed and intelligible help.
