AutoComplete Switch

Purpose

Turns off/on grid autocomplete feature. AutoComplete involves the program predicting a word or

phrase that the user wants to type in without the user actually typing it in completely.

AutoComplete usually speeds up typing repetitive values.

The source material for autocompletion is gathered from the current column values.

 

How it works?
Let's suppose you have entered room types for 10 rooms (101-110).
When you type S in the next row - program's behavior will be like shown below:

AutoComplete is turned on
AutoComplete  is turned off

To accept suggestion just press Enter. Or continue typing. To enter just part
of suggestion - press Del key to delete selected suggestion.

Howto

You could see if AutoComplete is turned on/off at the status bar.

To switch AutoComplete state - just do double click on it.

If you do not see the status bar at the bottom of main window - check Status Bar option at the View menu.

Print All

Purpose

Turns off/on printing all sheet area or only area with filled cells. Print area bounds are shown with blue lines.

Howto

You could see if PRINT ALL is turned on/off at the status bar.

To switch PRINT ALL state - just do double click on it.

SPSS* documents import
 

Purpose

Spreadsheet processor is able to read SPSS documents (up to the new v16).

Howto

Use File -> Open... command.
